Louisa Triandis of Boost Counseling and Assessment is a LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) with over 20 years of counseling experience with families, adults, and children of all ages in agency, school and private practice settings. She was the School Social Worker for Torrey Pines High School and two middle schools and was Adjunct Faculty at the University of Southern California where she taught Social Work Practice, Human Development and Mental Health, School Social Work, and field social work classes. She is co-author of There’s always Something Going Right- Workbook for Implementing the Nurtured Heart Approach in School Settings and the article Design and Implementation of Social Skills Groups-School Services Handbook 2nd Edition. She is a certificated school social worker, and has worked in both regular education and special education settings supporting teachers with classroom management since 1994. She is a Certified Nurtured Heart Approach trainer and has provided trainings for agencies, parents and schools throughout California. Louisa provides counseling, coaching and training in both English and Spanish and also has a certificate in Art Therapy.
