Jackie Mazur is the Founder of Guide My Finances, a Certified Financial Planner™, Certified Divorce Financial Analyst™, MSBA. As a financial veteran, Jackie began her career in finance in 2003 and soon recognized a need in the industry for unbiased financial advice combined with sound financial education.
Jackie utilizes this experience to advise clients in many areas of financial planning including personal financial planning, retirement planning, retirement income distribution planning, investment management, divorce financial planning, stock compensation sale strategy, strategic inheritance planning, employer-provided benefits, asset management, risk management and more. Whether working with individuals or corporate clients, Jackie takes the time to educate clients and employees on all aspects of their financial strategy and how each component fits into the financial vision they have.
As a financial mediator, Jackie assists couples with the financial complexities related to divorce. Additionally, as a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst™, she works with individuals throughout the divorce process, helping them weigh their options and develop a plan for distributing assets, creating a fresh financial start once the process has been finalized.
After receiving her Master’s degree in Finance and Tax Planning, Jackie began teaching Financial Planning and Managerial Finance as a college professor in San Diego. Today, she utilizes her fundamental tax knowledge and teaching experience to assist her clients with structuring their financial plan in the most tax-advantageous way.
In addition to her designation as a Certified Financial Planner™, Jackie holds FINRA Series 6, 7, 63 as well as Life, Health and Long-Term Care Insurance licenses. She also utilizes her vast network of finance-related professionals to enhance her instruction and service to clients.
